A Holy Win on Halloween? Yes, Please! 🎃🙏

A Holy Win on Halloween? Yes, Please! 🎃🙏

Let’s be honest: Halloween is a confusing time for many Christians. On one hand, there's candy (praise the Lord), but on the other, there are skeletons crawling out of lawns and someone’s toddler dressed as a demon. 😬

But what if, instead of hiding in the basement with the lights off pretending you're not home, you turned October 31st into a chance to shine a little light in the darkness?

“Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.”Romans 12:21

Translation: you can hand out Reese’s Cups and radiate joy. Boom.

Here’s the move: Host a “Light the Night” party at your house. Set up games, blast Christian music (yes, the upbeat stuff exists), decorate with pumpkins and fairy lights (not every lighted thing is evil, Susan), and hand out candy plus encouraging notes. Think: "Jesus loves you more than Skittles." Sweet and spiritual.

Or attend your church’s fall festival. Nothing says "I'm here for the gospel and the corn dogs" like a hayride in the church parking lot.

You don't have to go full Martin Luther and nail verses to neighborhood doors (unless you really want to), but Halloween can be a time to be present, be kind, and sneak a little salt and light into someone’s Snickers bar.
